fitRIDE GEAR LIST
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR:
Three-quarter-length, fitted running or yoga pants. Loose fabrics feel nice and airy, but sometimes when the sweat starts going, they start to get a little heavy. And while some short shorts are cute, when you’re sitting in the seat using your inner thigh muscles, a little bit of chafing can occur. For your top, you should wear what you prefer—but make sure it only comes to about waist level and that you wear a sports bra, too.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY HAIR?
Hair accessories. It’s all about the sweat. Come with supplies to keep your hair back and the sweat out of your eyes. fitRIDE will provide you a towel! :)
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR SHOES?
You can wear cycle shoes that clip into the bike pedals. If you do not have SPD shoes, wear sturdy closed toe athletic shoes. For fitCORE please wear tennis shoes (sneakers), for barre you will be in socks (with or without sticky bottoms). This may mean a shoe swap as you pass the cubbies for the combo classes- be prepared!
SHOULD I BRING WATER?
The essential thing for your first time (and every time) is to be hydrated before you start. Take a couple drinks of water before class, during class and then after class. Make sure to drink a lot of water to replenish all of the sweat and fluids that you will lose by exerting yourself.
